Full-stack engineer in Zagreb. Thirteen years across telecom, e-commerce, payments, insurance, accounting SaaS and industrial AI — and my own consultancy since 2020. Started in C, Erlang and Java; today it is Python and Django, TypeScript and React — often in the same week.

I have never had the luxury of one stack.

Eight companies, seven industries, and a consultancy of my own since 2020. Telecom test automation in C and Erlang. Payment gateways and insurance systems in Java and Spring. A Django microservice fronting core services at FreshBooks. These days it is product and platform work for teams across a handful of industries — Python, Django and Nest.js on one side, TypeScript and React on the other, and whichever cloud the team already runs.

Different domain, different stack, same job: get useful fast, then ship something the next person can maintain.

I take the contract, do the work, and stay accountable for it. Engagements run long: I join as a senior pair of hands, own a slice end to end, and hand back code the next person can read. Four products so far — industrial AI, event ticketing, construction ERP and food ordering.

A free, ultra-lightweight Deezer desktop client written in Rust, with AirPlay 2 streaming built in. A 19 MB app against the official client’s 466, running as a single process — no ads, no telemetry, no account with me. Flow and recommendations, search, likes, queue, FLAC, Last.fm scrobbling, and speaker buttons that actually control it.
